    Save my MRUs

Hi TomZ, and welcome to the forum. Clear the box for "Other Explorer MRU's". Cleaner > Windows > Windows Explorer > Other Explorer MRU's. Here's a link regarding MRU's in the documentation.
  3. I would still give Everything a try because it may not be just portable apps this happens to. It's up to you. Good luck,
  4. That's not true because I've had the same situation with many portable applications. Unless the following is pure coincidence. CCleaner reported them as an unused file extension, even though it was actually the end of the program version. All of the following portable applications are still on my box. 1) Audacity v1.2.6 found by *.6 with Everything. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.6] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.6\OpenWithList] 2) WhyReboot v1.0.1.537 found by *.537 with Everything. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.537] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.537\OpenWithList] 3) Everything v1.2.1.371 found by *.371 with Everything. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.371] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.371\OpenWithList]
  5. It may be part of a version number of a program. You could try a program that kroozer recommended to me by the name of Everything. Search for *.1 It's possible you'll find the program that's responsible. My guess is that it's a portable application. BTW kroozer thanks again for this program. It's fast and it finds "Everything".
  6. Good thinking to only use it for small images. Thumbnails are a better choice for large images. Funny message login123. I hope your not speaking from experience. Thanks again.
  7. Sweet! So it's just a matter of the codes offered at Photobucket. My thanks to you and login123.
  8. I may look into it because I'd like to be able to post an image instead of a link. No reason really, just personal preference.
  9. Oh well, here's mine because this is how I feel right now.
  10. If you right click on login123's image, and select properties you will see that its linked to photobucket. I haven't been able to do that with pixpipeline so it's just an image and not a link. login123's image is not a link.
  11. This does look like fun. Hey login123, how did you post that image without it being an attachment or a link?
  12. Nothing else comes to mind that would help with your situation. Maybe someone else will chime in with a new idea. Please post your Operating System and the version of CCleaner that your using.
  13. You could try saving the settings to INI file. Options > Advanced > Save all settings to INI file. Did you run the Cleaner with the box cleared for "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 24 hours"? If it's a file that's difficult to delete while explorer is running, you could try TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer.
  14. Hi cookieeater, and welcome to the forum. Did you try restarting your computer?
  15. Great Song... Great Meaning... Coexist...
  16. In the Beginning, Three were Created... Man made of Clay. Angels made of Light. And a Third...made of Fire. From the beginning, stories of angels and men have captured our imaginations and have been etched into our history crossing all boundaries of culture, religion, and time. These two races have dominated the landscape of modern mythology for countless centuries, almost washing away the evidence that a third ever existed. This third race, born of smokeless fire, was called the jinn. Similar to humans in many ways, the jinn lived invisibly among us and only under dire or unusual circumstances were our paths ever meant to cross. As humans became the dominant force on Earth, contact between man and jinn steadily decreased. . Modern man has all but forgotten the jinn. It is time for him to remember. Exxodus Pictures is a new motion picture production company based in Michigan. The movie was filmed this year in Michigan and is set for release in 2011. It stars Dominic Rains, William Atherton, Faran Tahir, Ray Park who is best known for the evil Sith Lord Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. Serinda Swan who is in the upcoming movie TRON: Legacy as Siren. Along with many others listed here. The movie's Writer/Director is Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad and the cinematographer is Bob Mehnert who has been working in the business professionally since 1968. This movie has the potential to be a fantastic supernatural thriller. The teaser looks really good, here it is on YouTube. Here's a link to the site that shows the 600 horsepower custom built car called Firebreather that was used in the movie. It was seen around town and was a real crowd pleaser. The official site for Jinn. Official Trailer Coming Soon. Facebook page. Update from Facebook 9/13/12...
  17. It doesn't show up for me as well. What makes you think there should be a cookie (www.netflix.com/login)? With the two saved cookies I have, the site remembers me and I'm automatically signed in to Netflix. What browser are you using?
  18. Are you using Options > Exclude to keep the cookies? If so, login at Netflix then close your browser. In CCleaner go to Options > Cookies and move the cookies from delete to keep using the ->. Have a look at this link for more details. I have two cookies from Netflix, "netflix.com" and "www.netflix.com" both non flash cookies.
  19. Clearing the box will save the settings in the registry, then delete the ini file in the CCleaner folder without causing a problem. I periodically backup an updated ini file to another media for safe keeping. Saving the settings to an ini file essentially makes the program portable. Both are really considered "normal" operation. It's a matter of personal preference.
  20. By far the best way to do this would be as ident suggested, to save all settings to ini file. This would save all settings not just cookies to keep. Here's a link to the page that explains it. (Last entry)
  21. When I tested Vista 32-bit, the cookies are still there. I had thought 64-bit may be what the problem is, but I haven't read any posts from other users to support it.
