  2. 48 Getting older is like a plane flying through a storm. Once you?re abroad, there?s nothing you can do. Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.
  3. Yes, davey and I had many of conversations via PMs. How old are you: Still pretty young in my book. That reminds me, I need to post in that topic. Last year when our stock market first took a tumble I said to davey "I hope your retirement funds are in a safe place. Kinda scary isn't it!" And his response was, "HeHe !!! Like I have told others. My funds are in a safe place. Wish I could figure out exactly where they are . Then I would go get them." Sounds like davey.
  4. Here are a couple of davey's last posts, and they really don't sound like someone who was planning on going anywhere. http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=125751 http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=125756 Last log in here at the forum was: 14th January 2009 - 11:07 AM.

  7. Try changing the set number of idle minutes and select OK. Try restarting your computer to reset. Some software running in the background may prevent Windows from seeing the PC as idle.
  8. Your welcome, I was under the impression it cleaned all Hotfix Uninstallers. It's a good idea to keep the most recent ones.
  9. The user may be referring to Hotfix Uninstallers. If you are using Vista, that would explain why you don't see the option. When used in XP, all Hotfix Uninstallers are removed at this time. Source: http://docs.piriform.com/ccleaner/ccleaner...d-windows-files
  10. If a person wants to stop the insanity, they have a chance to succeed. One usually has to hit a personal rock bottom to reach out for help. Here's one thing you may want to consider.
  11. I haven't been looking at the desktops lately. I now see your first post is the same. Looks nice.
  12. Hey razz, if you got that wallpaper at DesktopNexus they're having a problem detecting the proper screen resolution. After you click on enlarge wallpaper or download, click on option and choose the correct resolution. Edit by Jamin4u: My bad, I had the zoom on my browser set to 125%.
  13. IMO the best place to get Wallpaper. http://www.desktopnexus.com/

  21. Hi gslc, Would the tech care to share some facts on how that conclusion was made? The .dbx files in Outlook Express can become corrupted by e-mail Anti-Virus programs. When this happens the data in the inbox that the VirusScan program corrupted is deleted. If you are pre XP SP2 then Background Compaction may be the problem. It's turned off by default with SP2. Since SP2 files are periodically compacted by Outlook Express, if the process is interrupted then all data can become corrupted and lost. I saw this happen on my sisters computer, she lost the inbox and folder content. One other possible cause is an extremely large size of Inbox.dbx, Sent Items.dbx and Deleted Items.dbx. You could use a backup program. http://www.oehelp.com/ Under Backup Programs click on OEBackup. Downloads: Outlook Express Quick Backup
