  1. Error Message Generator

If you right click on login123's image, and select properties you will see that its linked to photobucket. I haven't been able to do that with pixpipeline so it's just an image and not a link. login123's image is not a link.
  2. Error Message Generator

This does look like fun. Hey login123, how did you post that image without it being an attachment or a link?
  3. Temp folder hang when analyzing and cleaning

Glad to see that you worked it out.
  4. Temp folder hang when analyzing and cleaning

Nothing else comes to mind that would help with your situation. Maybe someone else will chime in with a new idea. Please post your Operating System and the version of CCleaner that your using.
  5. Temp folder hang when analyzing and cleaning

You could try saving the settings to INI file. Options > Advanced > Save all settings to INI file. Did you run the Cleaner with the box cleared for "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 24 hours"? If it's a file that's difficult to delete while explorer is running, you could try TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer.

Hi cookieeater, and welcome to the forum. Did you try restarting your computer?

  9. Jinn The Movie (2010)

In the Beginning, Three were Created... Man made of Clay. Angels made of Light. And a Third...made of Fire. From the beginning, stories of angels and men have captured our imaginations and have been etched into our history crossing all boundaries of culture, religion, and time. These two races have dominated the landscape of modern mythology for countless centuries, almost washing away the evidence that a third ever existed. This third race, born of smokeless fire, was called the jinn. Similar to humans in many ways, the jinn lived invisibly among us and only under dire or unusual circumstances were our paths ever meant to cross. As humans became the dominant force on Earth, contact between man and jinn steadily decreased. . Modern man has all but forgotten the jinn. It is time for him to remember. Exxodus Pictures is a new motion picture production company based in Michigan. The movie was filmed this year in Michigan and is set for release in 2011. It stars Dominic Rains, William Atherton, Faran Tahir, Ray Park who is best known for the evil Sith Lord Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. Serinda Swan who is in the upcoming movie TRON: Legacy as Siren. Along with many others listed here. The movie's Writer/Director is Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad and the cinematographer is Bob Mehnert who has been working in the business professionally since 1968. This movie has the potential to be a fantastic supernatural thriller. The teaser looks really good, here it is on YouTube. Here's a link to the site that shows the 600 horsepower custom built car called Firebreather that was used in the movie. It was seen around town and was a real crowd pleaser. The official site for Jinn. Official Trailer Coming Soon. Facebook page. Update from Facebook 9/13/12...
  10. Allowing cookies

It doesn't show up for me as well. What makes you think there should be a cookie (www.netflix.com/login)? With the two saved cookies I have, the site remembers me and I'm automatically signed in to Netflix. What browser are you using?
  11. Allowing cookies

Are you using Options > Exclude to keep the cookies? If so, login at Netflix then close your browser. In CCleaner go to Options > Cookies and move the cookies from delete to keep using the ->. Have a look at this link for more details. I have two cookies from Netflix, "netflix.com" and "www.netflix.com" both non flash cookies.
  12. Clearing the box will save the settings in the registry, then delete the ini file in the CCleaner folder without causing a problem. I periodically backup an updated ini file to another media for safe keeping. Saving the settings to an ini file essentially makes the program portable. Both are really considered "normal" operation. It's a matter of personal preference.
  13. By far the best way to do this would be as ident suggested, to save all settings to ini file. This would save all settings not just cookies to keep. Here's a link to the page that explains it. (Last entry)
  14. deleting cookies

When I tested Vista 32-bit, the cookies are still there. I had thought 64-bit may be what the problem is, but I haven't read any posts from other users to support it.
  15. deleting cookies

I just tested XP by clearing the Cookies check box for IE. Ran the cleaner and my cookies are still there. I will run the same test on Vista later and post my results. I'm sure there's an explanation for what's happening on your system. Let us help you figure it out. I was unaware about what Nergal posted. One more thought for now. Are you closing Internet Explorer before running the cleaner?
  16. deleting cookies

Flash cookies are also used in IE. If you clear the box for "Adobe Flash Player", I think you'll find what your looking for. Before you give up on the best cleaner out there, click on the link below and take the time to read about the programs features.
  17. deleting cookies

There are also flash cookies. Cleaner > Applications > Multimedia > Adobe Flash Player.
  18. unable to download ccleaner portable

Apparently, links for portable versions of all Piriform products are broken at this time. I'm sure they'll be fixed ASAP. You can get it from here. Use the "Download@Majorgeeks" link.
  19. ERUNT GUI

I just realized that I used Davey's line "Keep it simple". Sure do miss him around here. Thanks for the response Dennis.
  20. ERUNT GUI

Dennis, this looks like a nice app to keep it simple when using Erunt. Does it seem to have a way around UAC for Vista+, or is Task Scheduler still the choice to run Erunt on startup to avoid the UAC popup?
  21. Backup .REG

Thanks for the link kroozer, this will come in handy for my XP box. widu is using Vista which already has an advanced search engine in the start menu, it works great and will open the file location with a right click menu option. Type in .reg and under files you will see file(s) like the example kroozer showed. Right click on one and choose open file location.
  22. I believe my previous post only applies to history under the Favorites tab. Some of the Address Bar Autocomplete data is stored in the registry, and as index.dat files. When you highlight a line do you see a red X to the far right, if so click on it to delete the item.
  23. Have you looked in the History folder to see if they're there? This is where it is in Vista... C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History Double click on the items in the history folder to view history. User name is as far as you'll get without changing the folder view. Tools > Folder Options > View Show hidden files and folders and clear the box for hide protected operating system files. Be careful, and be sure to change them back when you're done.
  24. homepages

    Your welcome.
  25. homepages

I've never used Windows 98, and it's been a long time since I've used IE6. Did you click on use current then click OK under the General tab in Internet Options? This would clear all other sites under normal circumstances.
