[Doesn't seem to like a lot of files]

I ran a disk check and I don't think it said there were any errors, so I figure, why not see if Defraggler runs any better now. It managed to analyze the entire partition (it did slow down once it got up to about 70% and took awhile to process). Don't know what the problem was but it appears to be alright now.

Is there any way, however, to speed up Defraggler?

Though it does sound like file system errors were the culprit, hey?

From what I have seen, the defragging is better than the default XP defrag. The files pretty well all go into one piece - it can take multiple efforts with the default one to do this. Also, defragging a drive with really limited free space will now be possible

 

And in comparison with the piece of crap in Vista, well nothing need be said there

[CCleaner no install, .exe disappears]

I have downloaded CCleaner 202 several times but have never been able to install. When you click on the file, it flashes and disappears with no installation. Have also tried to install from "run" instead of save to file and it still will not install. Any suggestions?
