  2. The new version is not having same issue. I removed also "compatibility with XP".. Works fine now. Regards
  3. Thanks.. browser is closed. with or without check in .dat is the same.. Now I run "compatibility" as Win XP SP2 and it works as it should.. I think it's a bug.. Regards
  4. Hej... since I installed CCleaner on Win 7 Premium final... everytime I run "Cleaner" and Reg?stry" I cannot longer "save or run" downloaded software. Clicking on a download link.. does not open the window, where you can choose "save or run".. but just a window where nothing happens..If I reboot the PC then it work again. I use the same setting I used on Vista SP2.. and it worked fin there. See screenshots.. any help please? Regards
  5. Well if you are relatively new to Vista, you'll find out that UAC is useless and annoying. BTW the issue was not about that.. I removed CCleaner and see if it's happening again... if so it's not CC fault but a broken file in registry... Regards
  6. Yes I did.. it's a normal thing for me, as it worked fine since the beginning... It started a week ago. So if it's not CCleaner, must be something in registry... I used all options to "troubleshoot".. but I cannot find the error. Power settings and Vista are configured to avooid passwword.. UAC is disable... so password at logon.. I have to find out why it happens.. I thought CCleaner was one of the last hopes. Regards
  7. Hi, everytime I run CCleaner the PC starts to require password after waking up from Hibernate, even if I changed all settings in Vista not to do so. More.. the monitor's settings shows "put monitor on sleep" after 20 minutes, while I chose "never" in Vista. So everytime I run CCleaner they are changed again. I never had thi issue in other version of CCleaner but I cannot tell which version introduced the problem. Vista is up to date so all software and hardware. My CCleaner settings are here: http://peecee.dk/upload/view/159921
  8. Hi, everytime I run CCleaner my customized folder view in Vista ultimate gets back to default. I change the view of the folders to "details" and it goes back to "large icons" Is it CCleaner or a Vista bug? Regards
  9. I will and report back.. Thanks for both answer Regards
  10. Hi, how could I prevent that CCleaner delete all the last used programs in the start menu? I have some pinned and some others added when using them. On my XP machine with the same configuration of CCleaner they stay there on Vista Ultimate the are deleted. Which option must I uncheck to avoid this? Regards
  11. ..is it normal not get an answer in this forum? I would like to know if this issue is known. Even the final relaese does not "respect" the previous version 1.4 and delete for example my typed www address in IE 7 Regards
  12. Hi, after downloading the new release 2.00, all my typed www addresses has been deleted from IE7, and all "run" index too in the start menu, even though I had unchecke these options. The same settings worked fine with 1.41 which I started to use again.... The settings that worked great in 1.4 do not work in the new one, and it would be great to have the same settings "kept" same way when upgrading to new releases. Regards
