  1. It appears that winapp2.ini no longer recognizes DETECTOS. I'm trying to find a DETECTOS for Windows 10 only. I tried DETECTOS=10|. Windows 11 detectos the cleaning module.
  2. My primary computer system is a home built ASUS system that I built back in 2016. It is too old to run Windows 11...it runs on the latest version of Windows 10x64 Pro (Insider built Version 23H2(OS Build 19045.4123)). My default/only browser is MS Edge (latest version). Over the past several months, my disk usage has increased by 50+gigabytes. I've been trying to find out what is causing this dramatic size increase. I finally discovered the MS Edge IndexedDB has grown to 52+gigabytes. This parameter is at C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Profile 1\IndexedDB. This issue is not present on my Windows 11x64 Pro systems running basically the same configuration of software as the Windows 10 system,. I moved the IndexedDB files off to USB drive. This dropped my disk usage from 101 gbytes back to 49 gbytes. Does anyone have an answer to stop IndexedDB from consistently increasing in size on Windows 10x64 Pro ??

  4. When I run CCleaner and then immediately check the User Data folder, all the caches have been cleared. This applies to Windows 10/11 x64. My only browser is MSEdge Chromium (latest version).
  5. Thanks for the explanation APMichael Fully recognizing that WinApp2.ini has been and still is fully voluntary, I continue to wish that we would get more frequent updates again.
  6. I was wondering this too. I'm showing no Windows Store entries from Winapp2.ini on Windows 10 or 11.

  9. Thanks. Please let us know when it is updated so I work with my older brother via DUO to update his system.
  10. Is Winapp2ool.ini version 1.5.8000.34368 considered a beta release or a public release? Reason for my question is that my older brother's Winapp2ool.ini does not offer to update to 1.5.8000.34368 (he is not set to accept beta updates).
  11. Thanks for the Winapp2.ini update.
  12. Yep, FileKey6 does appear to cause the problem with the pic. I took it out and tested it on my Win10 and Win11 systems. Thanks very much for the solution. It's been bugging me for weeks. 13. On both my Windows 10x64 Pro and Windows 11x64 Pro systems, I run only a local user account. My personal logon/account picture on these systems is stored in the Pictures folder of my user account. In CCleaner, if I have Applications>Windows>[Windows Subsystems *] active/checkmarked, it causes the picture to display as the "no picture at all" icon. It does not corrupt or remove my account/logon picture from the Pictures folder. I do get an error message if I try to restore the picture via Settings>Acounts>Your Info. This error goes away on system reboot. I have no idea what code Windows Subsystems is causing this problem. 14. I recommend that you exclude Outlook.exe in CCleaner>Options>Exclude
