What anti-virus do you use? Does the same thing happen if you uninstall what you have now, reboot, and then install the slim build from here (third in list) https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds

It is hard to see how you can class them as duplicates when they are different sizes A duplicate is an exact copy of something else.

Did you make a backup of the registry clean items when CCleaner offered you the chance to do it?

Have you restarted your machine? Did you do a registry clean? Did you use Health Check? Is this the first time you have used CCleaner? What anti-virus do you use?

@emarg13 ..and no traces of Binary Fortress ? Also look in Windows Settings.. Privacy... Background Apps and make sure it isn't listed and ticked there/

@emarg13 Also look in your Windows Task Scheduler Library (Press start button and immediately type Task Scheduler and select it)

Just checking a few things Does it show up under the start-up tab when you run Windows Taskmanager ? The Cleaner is safe, just don't use the Driver Updater.

Are you saying you have uninstalled Edge from your Win 10 Pro machine? It is a good idea to have it in place for when you need another browser. What else have you done to your machine? I am unsure what PKiDDiTB.exe is that you are trying to download.

I can confirm that CCleaner reg cleaner shows it in that path on Win 10 for cleaning. ......and I won't be cleaning it (don't use reg cleaner anyway)

Did you try running the new 5.91 installer as admin?
