Despite us mods asking admins about this we got no feedback at all.
Doesn't inspire people to use CCleaner or the rest of the Piriform software does it.

Unfortunately things don't work as we'd like them to.

No fixes in there, they are posts from users over the last few years who have had to suffer the surveymonkey torture.
I was trying to offer some sort of reassurance to you that you are not alone.
Wait for Ccleaner Support which is super slow at the moment.

Just give it a try for me please. Turn off the internet on your machine then try using CCleaner.

What operating System are you using>
Can you not click on it in Task Manager and select End Task at the bottom ?
Have you tried a restart of your machine? ( a restart, not shut down)
