  1. ublock users

Just a heads up to any ublock users out there that the dev gorhill has left the project suddenly and handed it over. Read here https://github.com/chrisaljoudi/uBlock/commit/6850fa0a262b8772a502c92750fe7a5bf74515f0 His reasons posted here http://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/ublock-a-lean-and-fast-blocker.365273/page-33#post-2476240
  2. Has anyone used OE Classic?

Apparently it's designed to be a complete replacement for Outlook Express and works on all operation systems from XP up to and including Windows 10. https://www.oeclassic.com/online-help-about-01 All help and info in links on left of page. There is also a pro version showing comparison table https://www.oeclassic.com/
  3. Right-click on an entry in the list and select ''open in regedit''
  4. I still stick to my desire NOT to have Reliability History or Event Viewer logs cleared by CCleaner.
  5. You may not want to hear this but after doing an upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10 it is always best to then do a clean install of Win 10. Otherwise bits of old operating systems (in your case Win 7) will keep popping up all over the place. You don't need to worry about a key as after you did your upgrade your key gets saved on the Microsoft servers and gets auto recognised.

Any poster in this thread please post in English. The original poster is posting in English so there is no need to post questions to him in German
  9. Question about accuracy of CCleaner report

Don't forget you can right-click on each individual entry in the advanced list and select 'view detailed report'
  10. No Software Updater in CCleaner

I don't personally think that users should be required to mess with the registry in order to turn a feature on. It is up to Piriform to sort this out. Someone from them should be available at weekends to deal with things like this especially when people have paid money for the software.
  11. Software Updater in free version?

All in all it's a mess. This seems to be the norm for CCleaner lately. There were no comments by staff yesterday on any of the many bugs, and as it's the weekend I doubt if there will be any comments until next week.
  12. Firefox Send

  13. Firefox Send

I'm sure Mozilla would have looked into that first before offering it to the public.
  14. More info on Software Updater required

As far as I know, Piriform owned FileHippo before the takeover by Avast. So perhaps that was part of the package.
  15. Software Updater Missing

Piriform seem to be keeping silent about this problem at the moment. They may end up saying it was just teething troubles, FileHippo (the updates source) couldn't cope etc. They should have made sure it would all work before release.
  16. size matters

Ongoing thread about this here, so I'll close this one. https://forum.piriform.com/topic/53546-last-ccleaner-v5547088-window-not-resizing/
  17. Can you give a bit more info? How much space does it take up? What operating system?
  18. Mise à jour CC cleaner professional 5.43

  19. https://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/history/ Usually it just overwrites the version you have. Just enter your key in the free version (Options.. about)
  20. Additional license

As it is a sales and terms question it may be better to ask Piriform directly https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  21. FileHippo says it is 8.41.0.54 which is where I think the Software Updater is gettings its info from perhaps.
  22. See if anything here helps https://forum.piriform.com/topic/5739-solution-when-ccleaner-wont-install-or-download-windows/
  23. Software Updater in free version?

Of course nukecad you could always buy the Software Updater https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/software-updater Where do the updates come from I wonder, direct from the software itself or via FileHippo?
  24. Where did you download it from? Try installing the SLIM build from here, https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds Does that work ok ?
