  8. Turning off an AV is not the same as uninstalling it. The only way to truely test is to uninstall Avast and try the full installer again. As Avast owns CCleaner some might think it strange that a block could happen ...I don't.

  11. Because your F drive doesn't have an operating system on it, I'm afraid you cannot clean it like you clean your C drive. On your C drive there is a structure which CCleaner can see C\Windows C\Program files C\Temp etc., etc., These don't exist on your F drive do they? It's just files and folders which you put on there yourself?

  14. trium I have moved on from Opera. I didn't like the autoupdater (you cannot turn it off) and also the built-in VPN caused issues for me. I have used Vivaldi for a few months now which works well for me.

  19. Do you know why safe mode isn't working? Is it because of the update? Did it always work before the update ?
  20. If you are running Windows 7 can you look in Control Panel .....Programs and Features and see how much is listed there for that program.
