  1. I followed your posts about this issue on tenforums. When you do a clean install of 1909 from an iso either on (dvd or usb) did you delete all other partitions when setting it up? I would recommend that so you just have one big disk size left and Windows installs 1909 and the partitions required itself. I find this often works for the best experience of a new install without niggling issues. After all you have Macrium (Quick plug here, 50% off until 2nd Dec) https://www.macrium.com/products/home?cbtcouponcode=AY8-6P7-FQL&campaignid=v7-126b
  2. Or drive people to 'dodgy' sites for old intel driver downloads. I'm sure there are lots of folk who cannot afford new machines

  4. Are you saying you actually did a clean install of 1909 from an iso and you still had issues?
  5. I find Reliability History very informative and wouldn't turn it off. When troubleshooting a machine it's one of the first things I look at.
  6. I wish I had your machine here, I'm sure it's a config issue. Do you have any other machines with this issue? What AV is on the machine?
  7. Sad day really, other companies such as Dell don't remove them. Perhaps they don't want people to use the old cheap ones, just use the new expensive ones. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/hardware/intel-is-removing-end-of-life-drivers-and-bios-downloads/
  8. Have you tried a clean install of 1909? What things have you tried already? Turning off Tips etc and Background Apps? (apart from Defender) Do you use a local account of a Microsoft Account? Have you treid a new user? I'm sure it's a configuration issue and not your machine.

  11. I never had one to delete anyway. I was posting to the general users of Win 10 about the consequences of deleting/uninstalling certain built-in Microsoft apps.
  12. While we wait for thread starter to post back, users must bear this in mind now with Microsoft Store App. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4339074/removing-uninstalling-reinstalling-microsoft-store-app-not-supported
  13. Can you give some examples of things that you say are pre-installed but not in CCleaners uninstall list? Do they show in Win 10 Apps in Settings on the machine? (I take it this is Win 10 we are talking about?)
  14. You can download and try installing the SLIM build from this page (bottom item in list) https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds What anti virus are you using? Do you mean the 1909 Windows 10 update?
  15. Google translate, ''Simple cleanup: is not clear: "Select all items that you do not want to clean up" Should you remove check mark or checkmark? It would be clear: "Select all the elements that you ..''

  21. Sorry nergal, yes I mean the malicious software removal tool that is offered in Win updates each month.
  22. Have updated through Win updates to 1909 from 1903. No problems so far. You have to do the 1903 Cumulative and Software Removal Tool updates first (with a restart) and then you will be offered it when you re-visit win updates..
