  15. A few Windows 10 questions

No you don't need to buy a key to upgrade from 7 to 10 as long as the key you have already is legal. I did one last week. Same applies to win 8 to 10.
  16. A few Windows 10 questions

Yes transition to Win 10 is still free with the media creation tool. It is also free if you go the upgrade route. Your key will then be changed to a Win 10 digital key which will be stored on Windows servers.
  17. @Stephen Piriform I think poster is wanting to know why it was being removed in the first place.

  20. Windows 10 1903

As this has gone live now I installed the required Cumulative through Win Updates released yesterday (KB4497934) However as I still wasn't offered the new May Feature update through the normal update channel I just used the Update Assistant from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 Note that that link also offers the iso for clean installs as well. Everything is running fine after doing the 1903 upgrade on this machine.

  24. CCleaner disapears

Uninstall the version off CCleaner you have. Download the SLIM build from here to your machine. https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds Install it and see what happens now. By the way when you download do things go to your download folder? Have you moved anything such as Program Files etc to another drive? Is there just you using the machine? Is Win 8.1 up to date?
