  1. There are many apps that seem to have problems with Catalina at the moment and not just because of the 32bit issue. https://www.theverge.com/2019/10/12/20908567/apple-macos-catalina-breaking-apps-32-bit-support-how-to-prepare-avoid-update https://mjtsai.com/blog/2019/10/11/mail-data-loss-in-macos-10-15/
  2. See here, it usually means you already have an instance of CCleaner already running https://forum.piriform.com/topic/5739-solution-when-ccleaner-wont-install-or-download-windows/

Late edit.. Looks like the pressure has made Chrome extentions devs change their minds. https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/dgoymg/warning_ubo_ublock_origin_will_possibly_be/f3fwlto/

I can see a lot of folk switching to a non-Chrome browser if it means that's the only way they can block some ads. Blocking ads is of course the reason why Chrome don't want uBlock0 on people's machines, Chrome will lose advertising fees.

Soon Chrome users may not be able to use uBlock Origin as Chrome Web Store keeps refusing the builds with 'odd' reasons. https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBlock-issues/issues/745 Read the posts, it doesn't sound good
  6. Try opening Edge and click on the 3 dots at the top right of the page. Choose Settings. Click on Privacy and Security and select Clear Browsing Data (the choose what to keep button) It should free things up, something may be stuck in the pipeline
  7. Try going into Windows Settings...Privacy.. then looking in left-hand list for Background Apps and click on it. Look in the list that appears for Microsoft Edge and untick it. Restart your machine. S
  8. Try downloading and then installing the slim build from here https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds
  9. Here is an online write up by a third party site of the new Health Check feature. https://techdows.com/2019/10/exclusive-first-look-at-ccleaner-health-check-feature.html Must admit I don't think it's something I would use at the moment.
  10. Looks like you are part of the latest trial which offers a Health Check. I do understand how this can be annoying and confusing. You could always just uninstall and download a new installer.. you may get lucky and get a one without the health check
  11. That CCleaner version was relaesed in February. Just wondering if you use Steam, also if your Win Updates (especially .Net are up to date)
  12. @Dave CCleaner if i Google CCleaner builds and download Slim from the page I get 5.61. If I do it from kostmick's link I get 5.62.
