    I find it really odd that after all these years it has been decided that Piriform wasn't the 'correct' title. Everyone knows who Piriform is, and has always been. It would have been easier to keep the Piriform title and just put a link in every product to Piriform Privacy Policy. I mean, it seems totally 'odd' to link a product such as Speccy or Defraggler to a privacy policy which has the name of another product. I sometimes wonder who dreams up these decisions

    Don't forget you can always uninstall the CCleaner Pro version you have, reboot and then install the latest build from here (making sure you untick the offers for Avast or Chrome if unwanted when installing) https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds It will be the free version but once Piriform has sorted out your key you can then enter it into the free version.

    As well as wanting to know what av you use, try uninstalling the CCleaner version you have, rebooting and then downloading 5.43 version from here https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds

    Good to hear. By the way, when I said the slim build didn't need updating, I meant at this point in time. We will see what happens when the next ccleaner build comes along

    If it is Malwarebytes paid that could be the problem as it has an issue at the moment with allowing some 3rd party programs to update. Let us know when you have downloaded and installed the slim version from that link (which needs no updating)

    Make sure all traces of CCleaner are gone from your program folder and Programs and Features uninstall list and restart your machine. Then download 5.43.6522 SLIM BUILD from here. Install it. https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds Do you still have the problem?

    If all else fails.. run Divorce 3.4. Be aware that this can cost big time.
