i had exactly the same thing happen with version 2.0. must be a bug of some kind. i hope it can be fixed soon.

hi. i downloaded the new CCleaner 2.0 today, and i notice in the "cleaner" portion of the new version it has an option under "System" for "desktop shortcuts and start menu shortcuts". what exactly does this new option do? i am not familiar with it, since it appears to be new in this version. i don't want CCleaner deleting something it shouldn't! thanks for any info on these new options.
