  1. Hi everyone, We are currently looking into this. Meanwhile, if you are having this problem, please go ahead and uncheck "Last Download Location" from under "Firefox" and/or "Thunderbird" in the Applications tab. Thanks
  2. Hi everyone, Would it be possible to run CCleaner 32-bit version and verify if drivers are correctly detected? Please let us know Thanks MrT
  3. SKIPUAC

Hi noomelub, Please, run CCleaner Portable and go to Options->Settings. Disable and then enable both Recycle Bin Options. Try again and let us know. Thanks
  4. Hi TrytobeCleanGuy, Can you please verify if you have your Chrome connect to a Google Account and History synchronization turned on. This will download your history back to your browser even after being cleaned by CCleaner. On another note, we noticed the "Section" entry above and are removing it in the next release. But this is not causing any problems cleaning History. Thanks, Andavari for pointing it out. Thanks
  5. Hi everyone, We haven't been able to reproduce this in house. Is someone else experiencing the same problem? Thanks MrT
  6. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

Hi, Unfortunately, we haven't been able to reproduce this problem. When deleting these Registry entries, Adobe Reader DC still works as expected. The application is not requesting to be installed/reconfigured by removing those Registry keys. Would you be able to provide us with a video or set of snapshots to illustrate the problem? Thanks

  8. hi ZeroByDivide, We were not able to reproduce this problem. Keep in mind that LocalStorage is managed by our Cookies screen. The "Google Chrome->Cookies" rule will get rid of them, unless you have then under "Cookies To Keep" list in Options->Cookies screen. Please let us know if this is your case. Thanks

  10. Hi everyone, There is a problem with XP SP2 and Microsoft has posted a hotfix: http://support2.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?kbid=921337 We have applied this patch to our testing machine and problem was fixed. No more BSOD after installing it. We are working on a solution to avoid this problem, but in the meantime, you might want to consider this hotfix... Thanks MrT
  11. Hi eauxmi, The tool is fine to be used as well. So, if you can, run the Wipe Free Space tool again and see if you still get blue screen. Let us know Many thanks!
  12. Hi eauxmi, Have you used the "Drive Wiper" Tool or "Wipe Free Space" rule which is part of the cleaning? Would you be kind to run Wipe Free space again? If so, can you please let us know if you can reproduce the blue screen? Many thanks MrT
  13. Hi witoman, Unfortunately we were not able to reproduce your problem. Are you using NTFS or FAT? Would you be kind to send us a snapshot of the application you used to recover files? Select one of the files that can be recovered so we can also see it on the Preview window. If you prefer, you can send me a PM message. We believe that if we work together we can solve this problem. Thanks MrT
  14. Hi hhumphrey, Please, remove "ccleaner1.ini" as it it not needed. What happens when you also delete the empty "winapp1.ini"? Does CCleaner start correctly but still has disabled buttons? If so, you can also try creating an empty "winsys1.ini". This will override the embedded "winsys.ini" and cause the "Windows" tab to be empty. Let us know. Thanks
  15. CCleaner windows 10 detecting issues
