  1. updating CC should be like updating the Database Of a Anti - Virus! .. instead of downloading a seperate file every time a new version is released .. this would prevent the user from the trouble of deleting the installation file of the previous version etc.
  2. there should be an option for both the registry scan and the CC scan to run simultaneously .. and clean them altogether .. comments are welcome ..
  3. the registy .. unlike the cleaner ... asks you to scan first and then clean.. there should be an option for directly fixing the issues .. making a backup if necessary .. like a dedicated seperate folder for backup files by date?
  4. just as the topic title suggests .. i would like CC to run as soon as a browser closes .. i bet there is some kind of command for this like scheduling or something .. but CC should run every 15 min - 30 min on its own ...
  5. SP3 is out on some sites .. it will be officially out by Microsoft in a week or so as well as Windows Vista SP1 cheerz
  6. I use CC quite a lot of times for uninstalling programs .. instead of the traditional Add/Remove Program .. who does anyways anyways i was wondering if the uninstall program listings could be more detailed .. and could be viewed : 1) By Size 2) By Date 3) By Name and after uninstalling a program a brief summary should be displayed like shown after running CC .. i would be really glad if this could be added in CC 2.0 and another thing .. (this topic has been already been started by some one else) .. the summary shown should be in lines with alternate colors of light green and white .. as shown in Limewire .. thanx all .. would be glad to recieve comments .. P.S. the CC skin should be made lighter like the original one please?
  7. ok fine .. i apologise .. hehe .. i still use WinXP SP3 .. never had issues as such .. sorry!
  8. yeah this request has been around for quite some time .. i throw in my vote as well
  9. hello guys .. is there a way to delete these LimeWire incomplete files ONLY if they are more than 2 days old .. because once you include them in the "Include" option .. files which are currently downloading gets deleted .. causing a lot of problems .. any solutions? thanx ..
  10. when i FIRST downloaded CC .. it cleaned a freakin LARGE space 218 MB !
  11. wat ur really tryin to say is dat CC sux ?
  12. hey guyz .. what do you think about this .. after you uninstall a program using CCleaner and if the installation folder is left undeleted and run a quick registry scan for the same , CC should delete that folder .. or any folder that is empty and is useless .. and BTW .. i am using CCleaner v 2.00.495 RC .. when is the final coming out?
  13. 1. Uninstall screen savers. 2.Scan and clean automatically for temp files after each program uninstall for left over files of the program uninstalled. hope this will be useful..
  14. ok ok my bad ..it was just a ... say ... thought about the skins ya i wud like that too.. about the backup ... its a good idea this is my suggestion ..: put a CCleaner option in the menu that appears when you right click a folder.. for including the selected folder(s) into the custom list of CCleaner cleanup and if the folder is in the custom list then there should be an option to remove it from the custom list.
  15. what about making skins for CCleaner? it would make CCleaner more popular and a whole lot cooler. wht do you think guyz??
  16. the option in Advanced> "Delete files in Windows Temp Folder older than 48 hours" instead of CCleaner suggesting the time (48 hours).. why don't you let the user type in how long.. he can type in the time value .. and CCleaner will delete the files older than the time given. hope this is useful. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- put a CCleaner option in the menu that appears when you right click a folder.. for including the selected folder/folders into the custom list of CCleaner cleanup and if the folder is in the custom list then there should be an option to remove it from the custom list. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i have seen many people asking for a option to exclude folders .. just as there is an option for including folders .. (Custom) there should be an option for excluding folders .. i hope this is useful
  17. i have seen many people asking for a option to exclude folders .. just as there is an option for including folders .. (Custom) there should be an option for excluding folders .. --------------------------------------------------------------- after you delete some program from the startup ... it goes ... but after you execute the program again .. it appears in the startup i know that you have to uncheck the startup in the program itself.. but ... there should be an option for permanently removing a program from the startup something like ... 1) right click .. and there should be an option ... "make sure the selected program doesn't appear in the startup again unless allowed" or some thing like that .. --------------------------------------------------------------- after analyzing ... there should be info at the bottom about the 1.total space in your computer 2.space available --------------------------------------------------------------- say somethin atleast ...
  18. it would be good if CrapCleaner cud update like those anti-viruses and anti-spywares like without opening your browser ... what do you think? if there is a way to optimize your system for a much faster system ... please do add such an option .. it would be very much appreciated! in the uninstall window ... you could add an option of how to view the entries .. for example ... By Name, By Size, By Date Installed .. etc. could add cleanup schedule.. if the user is very lazy .. lol .. people PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE say something about this ...
