How come the slim and basic versions have not been updated?

Someone on the outpost forums gave me some links which describe how to complete remove zonealarm and do a clean install of Outpost. I did both but still the same problem, i think next time i create a new nlite setup ill have to install outpost from then and see if helps. While i did have the blue screens multiple times, i was able to use outpost enough to realize it is way better then zonealarm, i like the plug ins but i also like the fact i can either stop them or just remove them. I hope i can get it working without the blue screens .

Speaking of connection what is every ones speed, i currently have 2mb but fingers crossed i am getting BE's 24 meg broadband at the end of the month. Which to say the least will be sweeeeat. Speaking of 24 meg connection i remember a site where a user can type the speed of a connection and a file size, it then calculates the time needed to download, does anyone know what it is or know a similar page? thanks.

At first that's whats i thought but to play modern 3d games you will need a driver that can be run on windows but controls apple hardware of which is not available. So a user is stuck to solitaire and minesweeper and these games are not exactly worth the hassle nor are similar games already not available for apples. Edit: There was a prize fund of around $14.000 so i guess it was worth it.

MrG are you going to comment on the inclusion of the toolbar, i mean the vast majority of users do no want it and do not use the version that it is included with?

Yep i have been using that package for as long i have been using nlite, i tend to create a new nlite disc every few months and use that package to incorporate windows hot-fixes. I cant remember the last time i download a hot-fix from microsoft/auto-update it bust be over a year at least now.

No, you have to copy the contents of a xp disc to your computer you then within nlite select what you want to remove it then recompiles the iso of which you burn, then just reinstall windows. If you are going to give it a go i suggest you also get vmware player so you can make sure that the basics work in your customized xp i.e. it boots.

I suggest all of you who's annoyances are software, i suggest you get nlite, some of the more well known items i have removed include outlook, MSN Explorer, Windows Media Player, Windows Media Player 6.4, Help, Tour, Command-Line tools, Movie Maker, Luna Theme, Windows Sounds and every single non English language and keyboard layout. I have attached my current nlite config file which is a full list of everything i choose to remove via nlite. While you have to copy the contents of your xp disc to you machine, choose what you want to remove with nlite. Then let if create a iso of which you burn, then reinstall windows it is definitely worth it. I am forever ticking a few more things for removal.

I was hoping to switch to outpost pro a few weeks back, i completely uninstalled ZA and installed outpost pro. Everything went smooth apart from the 3 blue screens i had in the first day, this followed for a few more days until i got rid of it.

Have a option to place a Ccleaner icon in the task-bar when a user selects "Run Ccleaner" from the context menu. This would show that Ccleaner is currently running in the background.

I used to be addicted to WRC i had the game and all but i didn't really catch it last year, i have to admit tho for excitement its definitely the best motorsport. Richard Burns was my fav driver and could have gone onto win multiple championships had he not been diagnosed with a brain tumour and consequently dies this year.

Who is everyone cheering on when f1 returns? I would say ill be cheering on the English team but all but 4 teams are based in the England to who ever wins i should be smiling. I however will be hoping Jensen button can finally stand up and be counted.

I definitely think you should put a link to the builds without the toolbar tho, i mean whats the point in recommending a program which removes crap and giving them a link to download the one which includes crap?
