  1. Had the same problem and have a way to work around it. The system gave a blue screen and a big crash. After restarting everything is fine. stop c000021a {onherstelbare systeemfout} het systeemproces windows subsysteem is onverwacht afgebroken met de status:0xc0000005 (0x7c9106c3 0x00ebec24) I think it means: stop c000021a {not repairable systemfailure} the systemprocess windows subsystem has been broken down unexpectedly with the status:0xc0000005 (0x7c9106c3 0x00ebec24) Solution: Install crapcleaner v5.1 but do not start the program then go to c\program files\ccleaner\ccleaner.ini and start that up. In that ccleaner.ini file there is text that says things like monitoring=1, make sure that all kinds of monitoring is off is 0. Then you can start the program and it works fine on windows xp sp 2. But do not set any monitoring on in the program!
  2. Quote: Save all settings to INI file checked in Options then Advanced. But I don't see any of that. I guess you mean: Go to internet \ extra \ internet options \ advanced \ then where is it? I have the Dutch version of Windows XP service pack 2.
  3. There are a few possible explanations.... 1. Crap cleaner is semi-automatic. 2. They want to sell you a full version later. 3. It is a bug. I think it's time for an update, when such crap isn't deleted.
  4. Well, why does crap cleaner not support that? It is crap isn't it?
  5. People told me on the crap cleaner forum that there is a way to get rid of the icons by cleaning the cache. As follows: Control panel \ internet options \ temporary internet files \ delete files. And it worked. All right, so they told me how to delete my cache. I am happy. But why isn't crap cleaner doing that for me automatically, I mean all the icons? That's why I use it. For me the cache is crap. Description of the problem I use Outlook Express for sending email. The following happens..... I send an email without an attachment. I get an email back with an attachment, in the attachment there are little icon images from websites that I have recently visited. Can someone else receiving that email see those images? The icon images are in a file called 'Image001.gif'. When opening the file you get to see a few pictures from recently visited places. I also learned the following. Let's say I got an email with 'Image001.gif'. I open it and see 5 images. Now I go to the internet for a few minutes and again I open 'Image001.gif' then there are maybe 20 images! Indeed after using crap cleaner the recent images are gone but the old 5 images are still there. So only the very recent icons are deleted by crap cleaner. So to delete all the icons I still got to do: Control panel \ internet options \ temporary internet files \ delete files.
  6. All right, that link told me how to delete my cache. But why isn't crap cleaner doing that for me automatically. That's why I use it. For me the cache is crap. There should be a way to tell crap cleaner that I want to delete that automatically when using crap cleaner.
  7. All right thank you. But where can I clean those things? 1. Deleting history In crap cleaner I see under 'internet explorer' 'history' I always have that checked. So in this case you probably mean just use crap cleaner to delete history? 2. Delete browser cache I wouldn't know how to do that, I don't see it in crap cleaner.
  8. The icon images are in a file called 'Image001.gif'. When opening the file you get to see a few pictures from recently visited places. I also learned the following. Indeed after using crap cleaner the recent images are gone but the old 5 images are still there. What is all this?
  9. I use Outlook Express for sending email. The following happens... I send an email without an attachment. I get an email back with an attachment, in the attachment there are little icon images from websites that I have recently visited. Where are those icon images coming from and how to get rid of them? Can someone else receiving that email see those images?
  10. Thank you all! Since I know of the medical term 'Throbber' I found out this website.... It even has registry settings, just double click on registry file. http://toastytech.com/files/throboff.html
