  1. Thank you guys for all the help and the handy little tools. Susa
  2. McAfee just found Artemis!F9DCEA351468 in OTL and removed it? Are these tests? Gotta run ~ Susa
  3. MBAM came back clean, but when runnung the comedian, Adaware removed a Win32trojanQhost. The others seem normal to me, but I'm not sure. BB3 is still gone this morning. I ran these last night, now I don't see the OTL Extras Log?so am I gonna have to run it again? Please Let me know if I need to run again. The OTL is too long, so here's the MBAM if that helps, without the others. Looks like I'll have to run Rooter as Administrator. Gotta run to work right now. 4. Thanks for all the help, you guys are great. It hasn't came back as of yet. Rebooted couple times and not there....so I'm thinking it may have been from Symantec/Norton. I did just do a system recovery yesterday, so machine should be clean. I wasn't thinking when I let HP add Norton. so had to remove it. I get McAfee free with ATT. MBAM is a great back up tho. Pretty sure I got all of Norton off now. Norton Removal tool never works right...LOL...Did advanced search and can't find it anymore. I'm worried about something too, did have to go without for a few minutes downloading McAfee off ATT. Odd little name there...bb3_auto_file under HKCR classes. Checking McAfee news there are alot of virus with that in the name, Rorschach112 ~ I downloaded the links in your post and will run them, I'll let you guys know if anything comes up. Thanks Again Everyone ~ Susa
  5. I did find some old Symantec left overs that may have taken care of it. It hasn't come back yet. We'll see. Ahhh forgot about mbam....had that on here before; recently reformatted. Thanks, I will run that also. Thanks for the suggestion, Great Idea!
  6. Yep, there sure are. McAfee, Spybot, Adaware...Had Norton, just put McAfee on yesterday. Thinking about downloading Avira or a-squared.
  7. Does anyone know what the Unused File Extension .BB3 - bb3_auto_file is and what program may be creating it? And Re-creating it? It comes up as registry key HKCR\.BB3....I delete it and it comes back. Thanks In Advance
  8. So true ident...Always backed up...along with what add-ons I have, just in case a version doesn't run like I want.

    CC v2.19.901

I just noticed the new build saving the Firefox passwords...I didn't get an update message for it. I just added my password file to Exclude in the 900 build.
  10. Just add your password file to the "Exclude" in Firefox....used to be the way Ccleaner was back when it was Crap Cleaner and with older versions of Firefox. Long time user here. Love it, never give it up! I'm sure Ccleaner will resolve the issue in the next upgrade....but rather than skipping all cleaning for saved forms just add your passwords to the "Exclude" Go to <Options> click <Exclude> click <Add> C:\Users\<User-Name>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<xxxxxx.default> Add that *IMPORTANT*: Since the drop down in the Edit Function didn't show <signons3.txt>.....you will have to manually edit it: just right click on it and <manually edit> and add the <signons3.txt> It should look like: C:\Users\<User-Name>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<xxxxxx.default>\signons3.txt Viola!

    K-Meleon?

Has K-Meleon been added yet? I looked for the above mentioned folders and couldn't find them either. Nothing under Document and Settings for any user, which, I'd think there would be. However I did find cache under C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\Profiles\default\Cache, but I have 10 cache folders. After running CCleaner, I now have a Cache Trash Folder under K-Meleon. Anyone know if I can delete all but one cache folder. I can't see why it would have 10 unless it had created a new one each time. (WinXP SP2) <Edit> Well.....I went ahead and deleted all the extra caches & all seems well. CCleaner is deleting them along with the trash folder. Sorry for answering my own question here....but where does K-Mealon store the cookies or does it "really" delete them all on the toolbar?
