Ianeon
I check my fragmentation level using Defraggler. I am 30% fragmented. I de-frag my computer. I visit the BBC website and look at the home page. I check my fragmentation level using Defraggler. I am 29% fragmented. Question: How can a short visit to the home page of the BBC fragment my disc so much ?

Super Fast
Kroozer, I just wanted to know which program you used to make those cool red arrow thingies?
Moderators hazelnut Posted March 31, 2012 Moderators Share Posted March 31, 2012 Probably not this Super Fast but these can be really useful http://alt-codes.org/list/ ♫ ► P.S. kroozer
Kroozer, I just wanted to know which program you used to make those cool red arrow thingies? Just the Wingdings3 font in Paint. That font is in Vista but is omitted in Win7, so had to install from here. It ends up in Programs\Accessories\System Tools\Character Map and appears in Paint\Text. P.S. Kroozer is our arrow specialist Dennis made these marvelous drop shadowed arrows. If I'm the specialist, he's the boss.
Moderators hazelnut Posted March 31, 2012 Moderators Share Posted March 31, 2012 kroozer I have Windings 3 in Windows 7 Home premium 64bit paint installed by default. What 'bitness' do you have? Moderators hazelnut Posted March 31, 2012 Moderators Share Posted March 31, 2012 I wonder if it's to do with default input language installed, mine is English (United Kingdom) as is the Keyboard. Super Fast
Hazel, I believe the default language does impact what shows. I think there are minor differences in our & your English, such as displaying money in $$$ Vs the UK Pound symbols. They had a utility a while back to switch default language, but I am unsure if it only worked on Ultimate versions. Might be worth a try! Just for testing... Thanks, Kroozer! Now, how did Dennis do drop shadowed arrows? LOL! Now your gonna make me wanna download a font view utility to see all my installed fonts at a glance so I can see what options I have... I don't seem to have wingding 3 on my 7, just wingding. I wonder if I have other arrows in my webdings, etc?
kroozer
Thanks, Kroozer! Now, how did Dennis do drop shadowed arrows? LOL! The feature is logically in Denny's fave screen capture program.
