Can anyone using Zonealarm confirm something for me?

[ZoneAlarm Internet Logs*]

LangSecRef=3021

Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm

Default=False

FileKey1=%WinDir%\Internet Logs|*.dmp

FileKey2=%WinDir%\Internet Logs|*.log

FileKey3=%WinDir%\Internet Logs|*.tmp

FileKey4=%WinDir%\Internet Logs|*.zip

is in winapp2.ini, but are all of the files called ZALog.* etc? If so, this is already handled by CCleaner, else, I'll leave it.

Can you update the trim.bat file on the site -- http://www.winapp2.com/downloads.html --?

I have two trim files, one is dated 27/01/2012 and the other 08/03/2012. The old file is still being hosted on your site.

As far as I am aware, the one on the site is the latest I'd seen Alan_B post.

New Entry

Needs DetectOS for Win8 (would it be DetectOS=7.0?)

This resets the naming of screenshots back to screenshot (1).png

[Windows 8 ScreenShot Index*]
DetectOS=6.2
LangSecRef=3025
Detect=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
Default=False
Warning=This Resets Screenshot Naming Back To "Screenshot (1).png"
RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer|ScreenshotIndex

In Windows8 pressing Windows Key + Print Screen takes a full desktop screenshot and saves them in C:\Users\"username"\Pictures\Screenshots

They'll continue to be named (1), (2), (3), etc. until this regkey is cleaned.

Tested and even if a screenshot is in the folder it will skip over that number.

edit: added DetectOS=6.2 for win8

I did a clean install of HashTab v5.0.0.19, and have found out it doesn't create all those extra language .DLL files anymore. :)

Huh, that's the same version I have in my folder. I wonder why I never uploaded that.

Fixing that immediately.

That's what's nice about projects like this, and other open-source freeware. Stuff gets fixed quick. See it all the time!

2KB multiplied by the number of downloads will eventually mean allot though. ;)

Could end up being billions and billions..

It's less about saving space, and more about the fact that 10 entire entries were already included in CCleaner, and many other entries had FileKeys / RegKeys that were already handled by CCleaner, thus making them redundant.

I hope Winapp2.ini and family made it through hurricane Sandy safely. Probably is without electricity however.

Indeed! We are without power for now, but no damage to the house or family.

Areas around me were not nearly so lucky. My town has its own power as opposed to LIPA, but even still only about half of my town has power right now. Hopefully will be up by tomorrow.

This is the longest I've ever gone without power; the previous record was about 12 hours :huh:

so winapp2.ini the file is also unharmed!

The file is digitally immortalized! ;) Glad to hear you're safe. Between watching the Weather Channel's live YouTube stream and the news channels on HDTV that storm looked rather bad.
