That was how I originally had it then someone for whatever reason changed it to DetectFile.

This is how I have mine now, no need for a DetectFile at all:

I just reinstalled LoL and CCleaner+Winapp2.ini didn't recognize it.

I checked my registry and there's now only HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Riot Games

Weird, see attached image as I did a test again.

Hi. Why wasn't this entry added?

[serious Sam 3: BFE Direct X*]
Section=Games
Detect=HKCU\Software\Valve\Steam\Apps\41070
DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Steam\steamapps\common\Serious Sam 3
Default=False
Warning=You must first run the game for the first time before cleaning these. After that, the files become useless.
FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Steam\steamapps\common\Serious Sam 3\Redist|*.*|REMOVESELF

Should it be RECURSE or should this not be deleted? I have mine deleted (after running it for the first time, ofcourse) and the game runs fine.

Hello. I tested the Steam DirectX Installers and it didn't clean out the ones in Serious Sam 3, so I created that one to resolve that. Are you sure Steam DirectX Installers isn't just for Valve games, for which, Serious Sam 3 isn't a Valve game?

Think so, GTA IV has the DirectX and games for windows installers in %ProgramFiles%\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\Installers

edit: I never made an entry for them because steam just reinstalls them on me.

edit2: nvm, they only get reinstalled if you use the check game interegy option

edit3: New Entry <_<

My testing was done with my steam library, though I dont have all of my games installed (I have over 400), it should cover most games. It's intended to clean all of the directX installers from the steam folder, so if you're finding ones that aren't covered, feel free to list the file names here so I can add them to it.

I went through winapp2 a bit and I noticed this.

[Avast! Antivirus 7 & 8 More*]
LangSecRef=3024
Detect=HKCU\Software\AVAST Software\Avast
Default=False
FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\AVAST Software\Avast\backup|*.*|RECURSE
FileKey2=%CommonAppData%\AVAST Software\Avast\report|*.txt
FileKey3=%CommonAppData%\AVAST Software\Avast\log|*.*
FileKey4=%CommonAppData%\AVAST Software\Avast|Log.db;backend.txt

[Avast! Antivirus More*]
LangSecRef=3024
Detect1=HKCU\Software\AVAST Software\Avast
Detect2=HKLM\Software\AVAST Software\Avast
Default=False
FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\AVAST Software\Avast\backup|*.*|RECURSE
FileKey2=%CommonAppData%\AVAST Software\Avast\report|*.txt
FileKey3=%CommonAppData%\AVAST Software\Avast\log|*.*
FileKey4=%CommonAppData%\AVAST Software\Avast|Log.db;backend.txt

Maybe we can combine these?

Also LangSecRef should be 3024 not 3021 on this one:

[Avast! Antivirus 5 More*]
LangSecRef=3021
Detect=HKCU\Software\ALWIL Software\Avast\5.0
Default=False
FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\Alwil Software\Avast5\backup|*.*|RECURSE

Lastly, I figured I'd throw this in. Some gaps in-between entires in Winapp2. A small one here:

[shuffle Party*]
LangSecRef=3031
Detect=HKCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppModel\SystemAppData\Microsoft.ShuffleParty_8wekyb3d8bbwe
DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.ShuffleParty_8wekyb3d8bbwe
Default=False
FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.ShuffleParty_*\AC\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache\Content|*.*
FileKey2=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.ShuffleParty_*\AC\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache\MetaData|*.*
FileKey3=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.ShuffleParty_*\AC\INetCache|*.*|RECURSE
FileKey4=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.ShuffleParty_*\AC\INetCookies|*.*|RECURSE
FileKey5=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.ShuffleParty_*\AC\INetHistory|*.*|RECURSE

[sigParser*]
LangSecRef=3024
DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\UpdateStar\SigParser\SigParser.exe
Default=False
FileKey1=%AppData%\UpdateStar GmbH\SigParser\3.0.4898.22300|*.log

and a big one here:

[Windows Burn Cache*]
LangSecRef=3025
Detect=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CD Burning
Default=False
Warning=This option will wipe all files that are waiting to be burned to a CD/DVD/BRD
FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Windows\Burn\Temporary Burn Folder|*.*

[Windows CBS Logs*]
LangSecRef=3025
Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
Default=False
FileKey1=%WinDir%\Logs\CBS|cbs.log;*.cab
