There's been some discussion on other forums that CCleaner is a TRIM alternative for earlier generation SSDs. I was just curious to know from the software developers whether this would actually be the case, if doing a secure erase would be beneficial for SSD and flash memory performance improvements, and if so, what would be the optimal number of passes? Perhaps making a GUI option to 'optimise SSD' and add that as a features/benefits listing would be good too, if it were to be the case
