ErnieHarris
Add code to Defraggler to IGNORE SYSTEM FILES during the QUICK DEFRAG process, By not including those LARGE SYSTEM FILES in the read/write defragmentation process, the other files can be consolidated faster. For example, as soon as QUICK DEFRAG builds a FILE LIST, I STOP the process, VIEW the list of files, click the box to CHECK all files, UNCHECK THE SYSTEM FILES (one of mine is 6,000,000+ KB & another is 3,000,000+ KB), and then click DEFRAG CHECKED. ZOOM, ZOOM, ZOOM & FINISHED!
Moderators Nergal Posted February 20, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 20, 2017 Moved to Defraggler Suggestion board ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
