Moderators mta Posted April 19, 2017 Moderators Share Posted April 19, 2017 have you checked out those 4 red lines? one of them reports as this; https://support.emsisoft.com/topic/27218-falsch-positiver-fund/ (you may need to translate the page) basically, it says that since CC v5.29 is new, these AV security sites haven't yet updated their signatures to reflect this. in other words, a false positive. CC is safe to use, but if you are remotely concerned, then don't use it. that is after-all why you got your security software for. there will always come a time where it will pop up a message and you have to decide which way to go and how much trust to put into it. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. Moderators Andavari Posted April 20, 2017 Moderators Share Posted April 20, 2017 It's better to post the actual VirusTotal link with the scanning results for validity, instead of posting a screenshot of it.
Moderators Nergal Posted April 20, 2017 Moderators Share Posted April 20, 2017 Can't read screenshot, please provide the virus total link ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
