Jkdykema
I might like to purchase CCleaner Pro but for the life of me I cannot find a place on their site where I can ask a simple question: Is the cost for the pro version an annual cost? Can someone help me here? John
Moderators Nergal Posted July 16, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 16, 2016 The annual nature of the ccleaner pro license covers priority support and automatic updates; I don't believe (and as of the last time the developers clarified this to us moderators a few years ago) the other added feature of Pro (the ability to clean multiple users) gets disabled, but maybe somebody who has let their license lapse can better answer that part. Moderators mta Posted July 16, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 16, 2016 On the multi-user cleaning front - No, no first hand proof. I was only answering the OPs question concerning annual costs, and Yes, the link to my previous post does also include a comment that multi-user cleaning would be lost, but that's my personal believe. And that is only based on the fact that no other software I am aware of keeps 'paid-for' functions available after the license has expired. If CC Pro does that then it would be a cheap way to get that extra cleaning option for life with a one-time payment. Can these sort of questions be pushed to an Admin member for clarification?
