Larry Barnes
CCleaner (free v 5.09, Win 7)) runs to 2% and will keep running forever. Using the control panel I cannot un-install CCleaner and have to shut the un-install down via Task Manager. Used to work flawlessly for years now but as of about a month ago, it just stopped. No new software or hardware added to the Dell XPS 9000. Any ideas on how to fix Cleaner or remove it? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Moderators mta Posted May 4, 2017 Moderators Share Posted May 4, 2017 I would start the PC in Safe Mode and try uninstalling CC from there. then get v5.29 to replace that old v5.09 version. if it fails to uninstall in Safe Mode, try Revo Uninstaller. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
