To review the efficacy of CCleaner for Windows10.

Hello Members!

Gave a shot to uninstalling the 'Clover' & 'ProgDVB' using CCleaner. Both have installation directories within C:Program Files(x86).

Uninstallation didn't get me rid of these 2 Orphan folders!

I had to manually uninstall these on my own.

Therefore, please review the functioning of CCleaner towards uninstalling Apps within Windows 10, or atleast prompt the Users beforehand to look for the remnants on their own! :-)

Thanks.

Ccleaner has always just run uninstall command that windows runs, if you need a complete uninstaller (as if run from programs control panel) there are well known softwares that specialize in doing that.

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

Hello Nergal!

The link you have posted against 'Absolute' have returned the following message instead!

Please "Update" in this regard....

Just click the uninstaller link at the bottom of that 404 page. Not so difficult that I had to actually come back and look; next time be an adult and make some self-guided effort.

K thx :)
