Moderators Nergal Posted July 7, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 7, 2016 This occurs if edge, or any program that uses edge's renderer, is running at the time of the clean. Many "Windows Store" apps run using edge, as do many (traditional) Windows applications. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators Andavari Posted July 7, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 7, 2016 Usually to clean Edge I do it after the computer first starts up, if I wait too long it's impossible to clean. Although the stuff that gets cleaned pretty much immediately comes back which would be those Windows apps Nergal mentioned in the above post.
