ctaylor5
When I download the latest update, it fails to install saying there is a problem with C:\Profgram Files\CCleaner\CCleaner64.exe. It says that there was an error opening file for writing. I have deleted previous download and downloaded anew but it always fails at this point. Moderators Nergal Posted May 25, 2017 Moderators Share Posted May 25, 2017 Make sure ccleaner (and monitoring in taskbar) are fully exited And then try install ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
