CCleaner can't delete/remove entries from KB3163207

Recommended Posts

Windows 10 x64, CCleaner v5.17.5590 x64

As a result of the well documented failure of  "Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3163207) - Error 0x800f092" I have been trying to clean things up and try again.

CCleaner tries to do so and says it is deleting items however a scan immediately after or after a reboot results in the exact same 38 outstanding items being identified.

The "stickie" post suggests using Dial-a-fix then at the bottom says it doesn't work with anything Win7 or newer (not exactly helpful for a stickie)

Can anyone suggest how to A) get CCleaner to remove the entries properly or B) uninstall KB3163207?

Thank you
