Willy2
- MS no longer supports .NET software versions v4, v4.50 & v4.51. https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/dotnet/2015/12/09/support-ending-for-the-net-framework-4-4-5-and-4-5-1/ Question: After having read this article I upgraded to .NET v4.52. I have a few nice programs that require .NET. Is it normal that previous/lower versions are removed automatically ? Moderators Andavari Posted August 22, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 22, 2016 Installing a new version in the past has never removed an older version.

Moderators hazelnut Posted August 23, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 23, 2016 I like NET. I use it as curtains for my Windows Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
ROCKNROLL
.NET v4.6.2 is backwards compatible all the way to v4.0. If you want/need .NET v3.5 or anything under, you will need to install .NET v3.5, then. There's actually still quite a bit of software that use .NET still. I am a maintainer for Winapp2. I also have a open-source group on Steam. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/opencommunity
Willy2
- This does not mean that MS dropped support for .NET v3.5 (yet ??). MS recently issued an update for .NET v3.5 this october (2016). It's KB 3179930.
