update download fails

Morning all,

I have been trying for a week or so now to update my version of CCleaner to the latest version 5.28. and have tried from several differnet download site, - Download.com, File Hippo, Piriform etc., and each time I try, it gets to 1 second remain for download, then it fails ??

I have asked for assistance from all the download sites and all they say is that it works for them ??

I have been able to update it on my laptop, but not on my desktop machine??

The desktop machine is running windows 10 Pro, whereas the laptop is running windows 10 standard version.

Is anyone else having this same problem, unable to complete the download? 

Has anyone got any solutions for it, or do I have to go find another programme similar?

I have already uninstalled the older version (5.27) from the desktop machine, but that did not assist with a complete download.

Have also run virus checks, malware checks, and all clean...

This is so annoying, so hoping someone out there can assist.

I just tried downloading from here > download.piriform.com and no problems.

Have you tried to down load and or can you download any other files ?
