newmarket2
Windows 10 and Firefox - both current When I run CCleaner, most/many web sites on which I do not have to login every time now require a login. If you want a screenshot of my CC settings, let me know. Hoping there's an easy tip... thanks, Michael
Moderators nukecad Posted March 20, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 20, 2017 It may be something to do with the new login warnings with FFx 52https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Protect-your-privacy/Insecure-password-warning-in-Firefox/ta-p/27861 But just to be sure first, have you unticked 'Saved passwords' in the Firefox section of CCleaner? *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? See this link:https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/52668-tracking-files/?tab=comments#comment-300043
Moderators Nergal Posted March 20, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 20, 2017 Also make sure you've chosen the sites cookies in the "cookies to keep" section of ccleaner's options ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
