Latest version of CCleaner stops working at 27% of scan

can you go to that file and folder and manually delete it?

 

that .db file may be in use by some image browser so is locked and not deleted.

 

is it always the same name?  if so, perhaps add it to the EXCLUDE list.

excluding that one .DB file shouldn't effect your crap removal regime as it's probably only got a small file size.

Similar trouble here :(

 

 

I've been running CCleaner for years without problems, on all my PCs ... but after updating to v5.27.5976(64-bit). This PC has Win7 Pro 64-bit as the OS, Current version CCleaner v5.28.6005(64bit) still crashes at around 56% (Mozilla Thunderbird) on my primary PC.

FWIW
After reading others posts here, I unchecked the "compact database" option for Mozilla Thunderbird and it completed without crashing.
