Shakes84
Good morning I have loaded the new version AVG 2013. Ccleaner doesn't support this new version 2013. For 2012 it was included in the section "utilitaires'. I think that Ccleaner doesn't support versions 2013 for antivirus. Find a clean for an antivirus is very useful for all logs ect... Can you do a correction for the next version. Thank you for your help regards
Moderators mta Posted September 21, 2012 Moderators Share Posted September 21, 2012 what in AVG 2013, or in any AVG folder in general, would you be looking for to tidy up. If it's LOG files why not setup in Options, Include an entry for *.log and *.log.* Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
Moderators Andavari Posted September 21, 2012 Moderators Share Posted September 21, 2012 Since AVG 2013 was only recently released there may be a waiting period for Piriform to update the cleaning entry to support it. This is the original cleaning entry, so it could be modified by someone who has AVG 2013 installed with the new locations, i.e.; changing 2012 to 2013, and then used in the winapp2.ini file until Piriform officially update it: [AVG AntiVirus 2012] ID=2268 LangSecRef=3024 Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\AVG\AVG2012 Default=True FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\AVG2012\Log|*.log FileKey2=%CommonAppData%\AVG2012\scanlogs|*.log FileKey3=%CommonAppData%\AVG2012\Log|history.xml FileKey4=%CommonAppData%\AVG2012\update\backup|*.* FileKey5=%CommonAppData%\AVG2012\Emc\Log|*.log FileKey6=%CommonAppData%\AVG2012\IDS\config|*List.zip.bak FileKey7=%CommonAppData%\AVG2012\IDS\profile|globalLoadable.bak FileKey8=%CommonAppData%\AVG2012\Temp|*.tmp

As is only history.xml (FileKey3) is removed, and temp disabling AVG FileKey 6 & 7 get cleaned.
