Moderators Nergal Posted July 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted July 12, 2017 ccsetup532.exe freezes a few seconds after launching. Anyone else experiencing this? Not seeing that, can you provide more details, such as: antivirus, and anything else we may need to know. Also check to see if ccleaner is running at the time (including monitoring) My issue is the installing, it says "Error opening file for writing".Your issue is likely different, ccleaner is still running and that's why it can't open the file. If exiting doesn't fix your issue we ask that you please start your own thread. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators mta Posted July 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted July 12, 2017 upgraded today to v5.32 without issue. but then, I did the download directly from the Builds page, then did an over-the-top install against the currently installed version. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. raynman
My issue is the installing, it says "Error opening file for writing". I had the same problem earlier today and found a pending Windows Update was causing this issue. Once I updated Windows, the install was seemless.
