registry cleaner suddenly never finds problems

Windows 10 Pro.  For many months, registry cleaner has found tons of problems every time it was run.  In fact, had to be run twice to clear them.

Suddenly, in the past several days, nothing.  Runs clean every time.

Is this likely to be a problem?  How can I tell?

TIA

welcome to the forums.

hang on, I'm confused - you'd be happier if CC found reg issues every time? :)

personally, at the moment with Window's constant releases, I am doubtful on CC's ability to keep up.

if something is going to be playing with the registry, you what it to be on top of its game and know all the latest nuances backwards.

as if reg tweaking wasn't fraught with enough dangers.

as to if that will be a problem?  indeed!, how can anyone tell?  reg cleaning tends to be a very personal thing, relating to your PC setup.

I'd love it if there were never any registry problems.  What concerns me is the sudden change in the pattern.  It's as though a city street that's normally clogged with traffic, day in and day out, one day is suddenly empty.  One wonders why.  Something's up.  SFC and DISM have found nothing, so at least from that angle, it's not a damaged Windows.  But what?

between 'errors galore' and 'nary a one', what has changed?

new Win10 build?

latest CC version?

Faulty/damaged RAM can cause corruption from my past experience, so perhaps that's the difference.

Other than that most registry "problems" are caused by uninstalling software that leaves something behind that a registry cleaner will deem invalid and offer to clean, and when opening a folder containing files with no program associated with them to open them (such as Firefox addons/extension which are .XPI files, etc.).
