AliceZ
I just added PaleMoon browser to my Win7 and wonder if CCleaner will clean PaleMoon's cache, etc.? I don't see it mentioned in the Analyze section. CCleaner already cleans my FF which I have also installed.
Moderators Nergal Posted October 10, 2016 Moderators Share Posted October 10, 2016 If palemoon is still based on firefox, the firefox section takes care of palemoon. Parent-browser's section usually cleans children by default, but you may have to use the ccleaner customlocation tag (see documents) if palemoon is installed in a non-default location ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators Andavari Posted October 12, 2016 Moderators Share Posted October 12, 2016 (edited) Easier via ccleaner.ini if you Save all settings to .INI file located in CCleaner at: 'Options > Advanced' Then it's just a matter of telling it where your browser profile is located using the full path, examples: CustomLocation1=FIREFOX|C:\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\Data\profileCustomLocation2=CHROME|C:\PortableApps\IronPortable\Profile ----------- Note that anything based upon Firefox would need to have: CustomLocation#=FIREFOX| Note that anything based upon Chrome or Chromium would need to have: CustomLocation#=CHROME| Edited October 12, 2016 by Andavari
