Big Mack
If defraggler is 64 bit why does it not use memory above 4 gig on a 16 gig system?
Moderators mta Posted October 17, 2016 Moderators Share Posted October 17, 2016 hi Big Mack and welcome. what are you using to determine DF is (or isn't) using memory above the 32bit architecture 4gig barrier? if you simply mean, why isn't DF using more than 4gig of memory, I doubt it (or any other software) ever does. that's a truck load of memory to consume. when running DF, what executable is shown in Task Manager? defraggler64.exe or defraggler.exe? Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
