Disk Analyzer - Deletion of Files

Recommended Posts

I am trying to delete files from the Disk Analyzer that take up space on my hard drive? I placed a check mark on the files that I want to delete, then try to do that but I get a message that says: "access denied"

I Googled this type of question and saw a response to this, upon checking on it, I don't see anywhere in those postings what the answer to the problem is? Can somebody explain what I have to do to rid my system of those files?

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

Do the files you're trying to remove have the proper permission (does your user have rights to the files)

Hi jangfrau and welcome,

if you could attach a screenshot or just give an example of the filename, that could shed some light.

Backup now & backup often.
It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.
Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
