Naxterra Posted September 23, 2016 Share Posted September 23, 2016 Hello I need to clear cache folders of IDM (Internet Download Manager) and Spotify. They are taking too much space and unless I modify default locations myself it causes error on my SSD drive which I use for Windows and boot. Moderators mta Posted September 23, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 23, 2016 If you want to reduce wear on the SSD, you can change to location of the Spotify cache to a HDD. In Spotify, go to Settings, Show Advanced Settings and down the list you'll see the current location. I've changed my to dump into the current Windows Temp environment variable (which has also be changed away from the SSD) so it's automatically picked up by CC. Backup now & backup often.It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
