ProBass
Every time I run CCleaner it finds and deletes everything except the same 30.2MB. I am running a plain windows 7 desktop.

ProBass
I just run the program ... say it says there are 63MB to be erased .. I say OK .. it erases everything except 30.3 MB. I do not know what it is or how to find out what it is. This never happens on any of my other computers.
Moderators mta Posted August 20, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 20, 2016 I think @hazelnut was after more detailed info. like, instead of running CC, hit Analyse and see where the files to be moved are. then run CC, after it has finished, it shows what was removed. now you can compare the two and see where the leftovers are. any chance you have both the only delete files older than 24 hours ticked? Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. Moderators Nergal Posted August 25, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 25, 2016 There you go, your antivirus doesn't want that file touched. I'd add it to your ccleaner excludes ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
