DwJoHn63
I just recently did an update to Windows 10. Up until this update I had been successfully using CCleaner Professional without problems. Now, when I try using CCleaner, and click on ANALZE it stops working at System - Temporary files, C:\Windows|Temp|Owner ............., and will proceed no further. After closing and re-launching CCleaner I will uncheck System - Temporary files and reinitiate CCleaner and it will now work. Anyone experience this and is there a solution? Moderators mta Posted January 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted January 12, 2017 Welcome @DwJoHn63, although yours doesn't sound like it matches, there have been a few reports of CC not working once the latest Win10 update is applied. but normally there is a 'your version is not compatible' type message. but just in case, it'll be worth trying to reinstall CC from here; https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds once installed you can then plug in your license key. another thing to try is the Windows cleanmgr program. run it from an elevated command prompt and have it go through everything. then try CC again. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
