day 12 an a day after the help request has been forwarded. No reply as of yet, I'd like to contact some one directly but there is not contact support except the forums and tickets. 

Been using ccleaner for years thought i'd give back for the great service only for this to crop up. Not really impressed if this is how paying customers get support.

don't forget it is the holiday season, most offices may only be getting back to work this week, then there is the back log.

they would have received your email, and the forward of your post in this thread, I'm sure they aren't just reading it and laughing at your issue while sitting on there hands!

 

in case more info is helpful, what else can you add here; like your CC version, OS version, a screen shot of the error?

have you downloaded CC from here; http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds, installed it, entered your key at Options, About, License?

I was not aware Piriform ran Government office like hours since Holidays ended a while ago, though I can understand sorting through back logs. Regardless I updated my support ticket with all the information you requested. Including your suggestion of using the installer from the build page and sent them the error link from that as well.

It would only take a couple of people to be away, for whatever reason, and your request simply goes into the slow lane.

As companies go, Piriform is not that big, then factor in how many bodies work in the area responding to email tickets, and it doesn't take too much to understand, it's just a bad part of the year to get a quick turn-around.

All I can tell you is @Tom Piriform is usually on these forums regularly and once he, or someone else gets to it, you can except a response.

 

In the meantime, how about that CC version, OS version and a screenshot if that helps.

I think we have established the sad fact that, for some reason, the support ticket line of enquiry is, for the time being, slow.

 

So, with that in mind and a guess (hope) that this forum topic may hit the right person in a more timely manner, I was thinking if you can give more info, than who knows, it may help.

 

And No, I can't provide any help with your matter, I am just trying to give the Admin people who see this thread a broader picture.

 

You can of course do whatever you like in which ever path you now want to take.

 

At least you can still use CC, you are just missing out on the auto updates, monitoring, and all users cleaning aspects.  (notice I didn't mention direct support, let's not go there, I think we know where we stand on that front)
