Vijac
I'm trying to download CCleaner. On download page Windows 10 asks: What do you want to do with ccsetup524.exe(8.17MB)? Save Save as Cancel Why doesn't it automatically download?
Moderators Nergal Posted December 9, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 9, 2016 Because that's how windows 10 does downloads. Save puts it in the downloads folder, save as will put it wherever you tell it to ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators nukecad Posted December 9, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 9, 2016 Save and Win10 puts it in the download folder as a .exe Double click the .exe to install. The .exe will delete itself from the download folder so save it somewhere else first if you want to keep it. (I'm talking free version here). *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning?
