Concerns restore points Windows 7 Home 32 bit.
The created restore points disappear after 24 hours.
In Ccleaner via Tools and System Restore I read:
Manage all your system restore points (this last is due to system safety disabled)
How can i enable it?

Enable the last? You can't. Ccleaner won't remove the last point. Why are your points disappearing after 24 hours, are you wiping freespace in ccleaner everyday?

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Other in the specific tool you found, Ccleaner, as I stated, should only be removing SRP if you're wiping freespace. Wiping freespace fills the drive, when a drive is filled windows deletes points to make more room. So if points are being removed without your express permission (by using the tool) I'd say uncheck wipe freespace in the advanced section, on the first (windows) tab

uncheck wipe freespace in the advanced section.

That was not checked!

Read on a forum that Ccleaner may be the culprit.
I have the idea that somewhere in W7 something fishy whereby after 24 hours
the created restore points disappear. The system belongs to create a restore
point on a regular basis! Never seen it. Maybe Microsoft has a answer.
Thanks for your advices.

- Perhaps you've allocated too little diskspace for those System Restore Points (SRP). Then Windows will run out of diskspace very soon and starts to delete those SRPs. Or Windows won't create any SRPs at all. Then you need to allocate (much) more diskspace for SRPs.

- Or the amount of free diskspace is too low or went under a critical limit. That will force Windows to remove all those SRPs as well.

- Perhaps you need to select a different option for those SRPs ?

I think that Willy2 has probably hit on your answer, you don't have enough disc space allocated for SRPs.

You can set the amount of disc space used for restore points in:
Control Panel, System, System Protection tab, Configure button.

It tells you there- "As space fills up, older restore points will be deleted to make room for new ones."

So if you don't allocate enough space then when a new SRP is created Windows will delete the old(est) ones.

Give it more space and it will keep (more of) the old ones.
