Cleaner is unable to recognize that Google Chrome is shut down.

When I run Cleaner I receive message "Google Chrome must be closed down before Cleaner can proceed and do I want to" and do I want to close Google Chrome" I click on "YES" wait, then another message "Program taking long time to shut down. Do want to force it to shutdown? I click on "YES" again and then Cleaner continues to do it's cleaning duties. (I've paraphrased the text in the messages above.) This all started about a month or two ago.

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
