  2. Nukecad The product purchased was Ccleaner Pro (14.95 CA) not CCleaner Pro Plus check snapshots in original post.
  3. I don't know. I can use the software. So I guess it doesn't matter. It says Product status: Expired. It doesn't show on my orders with the company. So something is off. Probably should have just continued to work with them on it instead of venting on here.
  4. This is the lightbox area when you click Facebook photos/videos and etc and it doesnt load. Please move this thread if this is not a bug.
  5. I note that your screenshot shows Canadian dollars. You don't seem to have been overcharged though? The offer price shows CA$24.95, which is what you have been invioced for. Are you using a VPN? If so then that could explain why the struck out prices are different. The one showing in the offer may have had had sales tax from a different country added - as well as the sales tax in your own country. It's one of the known problems that can happen if you buy things online when using a VPN. See this post and the following one from @Dave CCleaner If you have indeed been overcharged, (I don't think that you have) then support will refund the difference, they are probably busy at the moment following the Black Friday sale. The flag above will prompt Dave to see this thread and he'll poke support about your emails.

    Windows 10 1909

@nukecad --Thanks for checking. I'm also using a local account and only a few of the store apps that came with Win 10 and they are working properly. So far, the only common denominator I can even remotely suspect has nothing to do with store apps -- Intel Rapid Storage Technology. My computer came with it but when I did the clean install to 1909, it was removed by Windows. And, one of the people I know who got the problem today still has RST in program files but Device Manager is now showing Windows is using the Microsoft driver (it's under Storage Controllers) and not Intel's. This is certainly elusive.
  7. I bought the renewal, and it doesn't register. I've got my invoice in mail and everything except a 4x4 code to register the product. Company says it isn't showing up on my registered page. I have the deduction from paypal and invoice from them. I try to log in and can not. And this is what is really suspect. I click on forgot password (in case the password I am using is wrong), and it repeatedly comes with We're sorry, the page your blah blah blah. Would you like to return to these pages? The pages are sales sites, not a log in type. It is very fishy. I've used their products for years and paid them the past 3, but after this rip off, it will be the last. If I didn't know the company at all, I would be 100 percent convinced it was a scam due to the password thing alone. .... I've once again contacted their support. Previous emails were rebuffed with Order Overview information which shows the previous years but not my purchase in November of 2019. So this time, I've included pdf files proving the purchase both from them and from paypal. We will see. ... Here is the fishy password thing: Sorry, the page you're looking for can't be found If you were looking to download CCleaner then click here Or Defraggler then click here Or Recuva then click here Or Speccy then click here Or return to the homepage
  8. You could try Revo uninstaller which can find and remove 'leftovers' that the standard Windows uninstaller missed/left behind. You can download a Free trial of the Pro version, so that you can use the Pro feature 'Forced Uninstall'. (Or buy the Pro if you think you will need the feature again in future). 'Forced Uninstall' lets you use their log database to remove leftovers of stuff you had installed/uninstalled before you even got Revo. Here is the manual page for 'Forced Uninstall': https://www.revouninstaller.com/online-manual/uninstaller/#3.6 You can download the Pro trial here: https://www.revouninstaller.com/products/revo-uninstaller-pro/
  9. Been using CC Browser for a few weeks now and like it except for one thing. I'm one of those users who doesn't save passwords, pages, auto fill or other information, nor do I leave any browser, app or program open all day long just because I had reason to open it once. Which is why I appreciate the feature in both Internet Explorer Microsoft Edge that clears everything - passwords, cookies, caches, etc. - each time I close the browser. While Privacy Cleaner (with all boxes checked) is available after digging through menus or memory, can it be set to run automatically on exit? Or is there currently a setting to do so that I've missed?
  10. Update to this. We are informed by staff that action had been taken against the coupon site in question, and they been instructed to remove the webpage with the missleading advertisment.

I'm not seeing that error either. That may be why I'm not seeing it, I don't use the store. I dont even have a MS account anymore, I did have but deleted it and now use a local account.

    Windows 10 1909

@Andavari -- HP uses customized drivers and the support page for my unit is grossly outdated. In fact, the latest integrated graphics driver HP shows is 2 years old and the driver for my dedicated graphics card has never been updated by HP and it's 4 years old. Can't get the customized drivers from Intel or AMD but when I did the clean install to 1909, Windows Update put in the last Intel drivers available before they started with the DCH graphics drivers. As a matter of fact, the Runtimebroker error deals with Microsoft Store apps and they are working and updating properly. The wording on the errors is so ambiguous I'm starting to think troubleshooting is not worth the time and effort. Since everything's working, just ignore it and see what the next Feature Update does.

When you emailed support@ccleaner.com did you use the same email address you used to register ccleaner? That should have put you in the priority queue, I assume you've checked your spam folder for their response. Are you using easyclean/health check or custom clean? If the latter did you move your banks cookies to the cookies to keep option? What exactly do you mean "not able to access"? What happens? (I.e. Website doesn't load, doesn't accept my login credentials etc). I've flagged the staff to look for your support requests.
  14. You can use CCleaner (or any disk cleaning tool for that matter) on an SSD using the Normal file deletion method, which is what CCleaner has enabled by default. As long as you have Trim enabled on the SSD Windows will be able to automatically maintain it by occasionally using Trim.
  15. I also don't have that error for RunTime Broker. Still have the other two I previously listed. Whatever those services are having errors with one would think with a bunch of error reports being sent to Microsoft that they'd know about it and probably do something, then again if they don't make the drivers for it perhaps it's out of their control. One thing to make sure of is to try the PC drivers from the OEM manufacturer of the PC since they may have a custom build of the drivers - which may be out-dated however.
  16. It's a known reported issue and has been posted about in various topics by multiple people. Here's one long topic on the issue.
  17. I have CCleaner Pro, and after using it just once, it won't open. I'm on OS Catalina. I went through the instructions –– opened "show package contents" etc., even opened the Terminal and gave the unix command to open the aapplication –– but no response.
  18. Thanks for your help. If I follow this, the bottom line is to not use CCleaner to clean an SSD drive, whether the deletion is "secure" or "normal." Correct? If so, some questions occur to me. First, why does the CCleaner popup warn only against SECURE deletion of an SSD drive? Why doesn't it just advise not to clean the SSD drive at all? Second, if my computer had ONLY an SSD drive, why would I use CCleaner at all, except to use some of its subsidiary functions, like Recuva? Finally, I've been doing normal file deletion of my SSD drive for a while now with CCleaner because I thought that's what I was supposed to do. Apparently, I should not have been. Will this lead to any problems or is there anything I should do now to "fix" this? Again, thanks for the help.

This is really getting strange. Some people have it, others don't. Doesn't matter what brand computer or configuration. Thanks for checking. I will press on with my investigation.
  20. Not getting the error. ( I feel left out!!)
  21. go to Start > Run > type in 'RegEdit' there's a built in search feature, go to Edit > Find (at the top) and search for Mozilla, Firefox No search link available in RegEdit on my HP desktop page.
  22. When are these people going to update CCleaner to osMAC Catalina? I know I have the free version. They update the Windows version far more frequent than Mac. Anybody want to take a look at the crash report, feel free to do so. ccleaner crash report.docx

I have submitted 10 requests to get help with a support issue. Two weeks ago I purchased and installed CCleaner for my desktop computer. Since that time I have not been able to access my online banking application with JP Morgan Chase. I have tried Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google, and Yahoo. I have been online with CCleaner web site and there is no number to contact company by direct phone call. Can I get help ASAP.
