lokoike
Well, the first scan always takes longer than every scan thereafter, but I've never had it take 10 minutes. It is certainly possible, if you have an older computer, a large hard disk, or just a lot of crap. Has it finished yet? Save a tree, eat a beaver. Save a tree, wipe with an owl. Every time a bell rings, a thread gets hijacked! ding, ding! Give Andavari lots of money and maybe even consider getting K a DVD-RW drive. If it's not Scottish, IT'S CRAP!!! Moderators rridgely Posted December 30, 2005 Moderators Share Posted December 30, 2005 I have had it run for 30min before when it cleaned a couple gigs off an old computer.(one I was fixing) Some have had it go longer some have had it go less. When I run it on my comp now it only takes a few seconds.(but my cache is only 500mb)
Eldmannen
My computer only takes a few seconds too. First time ever that you use CCleaner, it will ofcourse take a little longer. And if your system is in bad condition with lots of nasties then it can take some time. Just let it finish, and when it has, try scan again, and it should go much faster. Cabe
well I am going on over 2 hours here. I only see that repeating progress bar and nothing telling me what it is doing or whereit is at. My only clue to that it isn't busted is that I don't see a "not responding" in windows task manger.
